Dr. Simone Lee Chin
Psychologist, Educator & Board Member at Sunflower Creative Arts
Welcome! I am a psychologist and educator dedicated to understanding how people learn, think, and grow. My research and practice focus on alternative education models, play-based learning, parenting, and travel. Having a PhD in psychology and homeschooling my children, I experience the intersection of educational theory and daily learning environments first-hand.
I am also fascinated by the integration of emerging technologies in education. I write and explore how AI can help us learn, how it shapes human thinking, and the opportunities and challenges it introduces from early childhood education all the way through higher education.
Currently, I serve on the Board of Directors of Sunflower Creative Arts, a non-profit dedicated to empowering children through play, nature, and the arts, where I also served as President of the Board.
